WHAT:
The IUC's two-day pipeline safety conference, organized in conjunction with the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration's (PHMSA) Inspector Training and Qualifications (TQ) Division, is designed specifically for utility industry professionals to receive updates on the latest state and federal pipeline safety regulations and hear from industry representatives and IUC pipeline inspectors and investigators.
WHO:
We welcome investor-owned natural gas utilities, pipeline companies, and municipalities, as well as gas industry workers, engineers, managers, gas system maintenance personnel, and local officials.

Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the Pipeline Safety Conference room block reservation link to the Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport.

What is the registration cost?
Details will be available in early November. There will be an early-bird registration opportunity!
How do I reserve space for a vendor booth?
Email iuc@iuc.iowa.gov with your company and contact name and email, product or service information, and amount of space requested to receive registration information and conference communications.
Whom should I contact if I have any dietary restrictions?
There is an opportunity to indicate any special dietary restrictions during
the registration process.
Where can I find the hotel reservation link?
The hotel reservation link will be included in your Pipeline Safety Conference registration confirmation email. Only registered attendees will receive the hotel reservation link. If youβre not receiving our Pipeline Safety Conference emails (i.e., confirmation email, notifications, etc.), please ask your IT department to whitelist the iuc.iowa.gov domain to ensure our emails are not blocked by a spam filter.
Will internet be available?
Yes. The Pipeline Safety Conference will have dedicated WiFi available.
